When the body is over stressed (ether physically or emotionally), when there is an increased demand for the adrenaline hormone or when someone has poor dietary habits (such as- the over use of coffee, white flour, sugar, alcohol and other stimulants) the adrenal glands suffer. Instructions: Lie down flat. Begin your test by pressing the start button on the wrist cuff. In approximately 30 seconds you will see two separate numbers appear on the digital screen. The top number is the Systolic pressure. The bottom number will be your Diastolic pressure. For the purpose of this test, we are only interested in your top number, or Systolic pressure. After seeing the top number display, you must now stand up and within 10 seconds push the “start” button on the blood pressure cuff again.
